Lyall Gardiner is a location manager, scout, photographer and founder of FStop.

Ali (2001) was his first film shot in Mozambique. Since then he has worked on 22 other major films. Lyall has lived and worked in the Middle East for many years. In particular, he has spent a considerable amount of time in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E), Oman, Qatar and Bahrain. To date, he has worked on the largest productions ever to take place in the U.A.E.

Lyall’s personal and professional skill set goes beyond location management knowledge and experience. Never one to back away from a new and exciting challenge, his relentless determination to achieve the impossible is what sets him apart from his competitors.

In response to the film industry’s need for a responsible location management company in the U.A.E and Middle East region, he established FStop Location Services in 2015.

Lyall takes seriously his responsibility to the region’s magnificent urban and jaw-droppingly beautiful natural landscapes. His integrity and down-to-earth approachability has helped build his reputation as someone to be trusted and relied upon. In this way he has helped to pave the way for other location managers and for lucrative film production opportunities in the region.
